We are proud to announce that GSRI has received a $1,000 grant from the CVS Caremark Charitable Trust, the private foundation of CVS Caremark, in honor of #GivingTuesday, a national movement when charities, individuals, schools, businesses and other community organizations come together on one day to create a national day of giving back.
As part of CVS Caremark's #Giving Tuesday initiative, CVS Caremark colleagues who volunteer their time were invited to nominate a local organization in their community to receive a grant from the CVS Caremark Charitable Trust. CVS Caremark colleague Laura Crowe nominated GSRI to receive funding from a total of $25,000 awarded to 25 non-profit organizations nationwide that were randomly selected to receive funding on #GivingTuesday (December 3).
Thank you, Laura and CVS Caremark!
Bring a Friend
Beginning November 1, 2013, we encourage all Girl Scouts to bring a friend to a troop meeting or other activity. If that friend registers and becomes a Girl Scout before December 15, both girls will receive a special patch and their photo will appear on the jumbotron at the Dunkin Donuts Center during the Cookie Kick-off Event on January 5, 2014. Click here to find out more.
GSRI Goes to Europe
You could be touring London, Paris, Rome and Florence during the summer of 2015! GSRI is organizing a trip for girls, ages 12-17, through EF Tours. If you are interested in traveling, learning about other cultures and having fun, consider joining us. You must be registered Girl Scout to participate, but you do not need to be in a troop. Parents and guardians, click here for more information. Contact Donna Lewis at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions at all.

To incent you, each service unit that reaches its goal will have a chance to win a FREE Community Camping weekend. Click here to read more.
